SMS/Text Message Terms
1. Program Description
SeniorPop offers an SMS/text messaging program ("Program") to help connect you with information about Medicare benefits available in your area. When you opt in to our Program by providing your phone number and checking the consent checkbox on our Benefit Checker or other forms on seniorpop.com, you agree to receive text messages from SeniorPop regarding:
- Confirmation of your benefits inquiry
- Information about Medicare plans available in your area
- Appointment reminders with licensed Medicare advisors
- Follow-up messages related to your Medicare benefits inquiry
- Important Medicare enrollment deadlines and updates
2. Opt-In and Consent
By checking the consent checkbox and submitting your phone number on any SeniorPop form, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS/text messages from SeniorPop at the phone number you provide. Your consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
You confirm that the phone number you provide is your own and that you are authorized to opt in to receive text messages at that number.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. During Medicare Open Enrollment (October 15 – December 7) and the Annual Enrollment Period, message frequency may temporarily increase.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. SeniorPop does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates will apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan and any applicable charges.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the STOP message, you will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from us.
You may also opt out by:
- Calling us at (800) 555-0199
- Emailing us at Jackie@seniorpop.com with the subject line "STOP SMS"
We honor opt-out requests received through any reasonable method, including but not limited to texting STOP, calling us, emailing us, or replying to any message with words like "unsubscribe," "cancel," "end," or "quit." We will process your opt-out request within 10 business days.
Please note that opting out of text messages does not opt you out of other forms of communication, such as email or phone calls, unless you specifically request that as well.
6. How to Get Help (HELP)
If you need assistance or have questions about our text messaging program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us for more information. You can also contact us directly:
- Phone: (800) 555-0199
- Email: Jackie@seniorpop.com
